Serhou Guirassy is the new top scorer in Europe.
With a hat-trick over the weekend, the Stuttgart forward became the top scorer in Europe's top leagues.

It appears that Stuttgart has found a new goal machine in Serhou Guirassy, who, with a hat-trick in the weekend's victory over Mainz, has now scored a total of 8 goals in just 4 games. Guirassy was on loan at Stuttgart from the French club Rennes last season, where he scored 11 goals in 22 matches, and it was enough to convince Stuttgart to purchase him in the summer. The 8 goals make him the top scorer in Europe's top leagues right now, ahead of some very prominent names.

Top goal scorer in Europe’s top leagues:
8 goals: Serhou Guirassy
7 goals: Kylian Mbappe
7 goals: Erling Haaland
5 goals: Lautaro Martinez
5 goals: Jude Bellingham
5 goals: Jonas Wind

What's impressive is that he has scored 8 goals in just 4 games, so he's very close to breaking his own record from last year when he scored 11 goals. We've also taken a closer look at how many shots the strikers on the list have taken to score their goals:

Top goal scorers with most shots:
29 shots: Erling Haaland
20 shots: Kylian Mbappe
16 shots: Lautaro Martinez
16 shots: Serhou Guirassy
12 shots: Jude Bellingham
10 shots: Jonas Wind

Serhou Guirassy has therefore scored on half of his attempts, which is an incredible statistic to have, scoring on 50% of your attempts. It will be exciting to see if he can continue his development and challenge Haaland, Mbappe, and Kane for the top spot throughout the rest of the season, as they are expected to continue scoring goals as well.
