NBA Finals Game 4 Preview

NBA Finals Game 4 Preview
Ahead of Game 4 of the NBA finals, don’t expect the Heat to crumble.

The NBA Finals are full of narratives this year. Despite the popular option of having a Celtcis vs Lakers series to take a lead on the most championships won by an organization (16 each), the Nuggets and the Heat got the best out of the Playoffs and are now facing each other in a much anticipated end to the season.

As the Nuggets take game 3, they are now up 2-1, but don't get fooled as the Heat were able to sneak a win from the Nuggets while playing in Denver. They have shown they are not here to show their faces and leave, they are here to win it all and give Jimmy Butler the chance to cement himself in the history books after a hard fought postseason. Many say that this is their last chance, and they might be right as their team is aging and Jimmy Butler might want to look outside Miami to chase for a ring. But let's not forget that they were one of the worst teams in the regular season, finishing 8th overall in the east. Despite their poor regular season performance, they are now back in the finals for the second time in 4 years, in addition to their 3 conference finals appearances in the same 4 years.

The Nuggets on the other hand are making their first Finals appearance in franchise history. As Jokic aims for a championship, the most important piece of jewelery to him, he is getting ever so close to that dream. He is joined by his partner in crime, Jamal Murray and a supporting cast for the games. Aaron Gordon, MPJ, KCP, Bruce Brown, Jeff Green and Christian Braun are all vital players in Michael Malone's 8 man rotation.

Much like Jimmy Butler having Gabe Vincent, Caleb Martin and Max Strus as his supporting cast, Jokic and Murray can make the difference by themselves not needing for the rest of the team to go off. Murray and Jokic just made history with their statline in game 3 as they took back their loss from game 2 to take the lead in the series.

Going back to the Heat, expect them to make some noise in Game 4. As they will be playing at home, you can expect them to find their shot and possibly win game 4 to tie the series.

Overall we predict the Heat to win Game 4 and head back to Denver with the Larry O'Brien Trophy in mind.
