Is Ousmane Dembele on his way to PSG?

There are strong rumors that PSG may have triggered Dembele's release clause.

PSG is close to completing a transfer coup as they have reportedly triggered the seemingly low release clause of around €50m for Barcelona's Ousmane Dembele. Dembele is said to have accepted a 5-year contract with PSG, so now it's only the final paperwork that needs to be sorted before a potential move becomes a reality. Dembele appears to be the clear successor to Mbappe, who is on his way out of PSG after publicly stating that he will not renew his contract after 2024.

Barcelona paid around €135.00m for Dembele back in 2017 when they bought him from Dortmund, so acquiring the winger for €50m now seems like a bargain. Dembele is now 26 years old and has showcased his immense talent several times in Spain, but due to numerous unfortunate injuries, he has never managed to become the massive star they had hoped for when they signed him from Dortmund.
