Pep Guardiola wins his 36th trophy as a manager.
With yesterday's victory over Sevilla, another trophy is secured at Manchester City.

With yesterday's victory, Pep Guardiola has now won the UEFA Super Cup with all the teams he has coached: twice with Barcelona, once with Bayern Munich, and once with Manchester City. He is now the only manager to win the UEFA Super Cup with three different teams, and only one manager has won the tournament four times like Pep, and that is Carlo Ancelotti.
Pep has truly revolutionized Manchester City, turning them into a club that is expected to win trophies every season. He has won the Premier League 5 times in 6 seasons, showcasing City's absolute dominance. While many argue that he has had talented squads and has spent a significant amount of money, his playing style and coaching approach are innovative and truly impressive.

Pep has now won 36 titles in his coaching career, with the majority of these being secured with Manchester City:

15 trophies: Manchester City
14 trophies: FC Barcelona
  7 trophies: Bayern Munich

There's no doubt that he is the coach of the year, as in the 2022/23 season he has won the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, and now the UEFA Super Cup, totaling 4 trophies in the calendar year 2022/23.

Guardiola has been a coach for 14 years, and it's even more impressive that he has already won 36 trophies. There's certainly reason to believe that many more trophies are on the horizon. Many talks about him possibly being the greatest manager of all time, while others still believe he has yet to prove something akin to what Alex Ferguson achieved. Right now, he is, at least, the manager in history with the second most trophies won.

Managers with most trophies:
49: Alex Ferguson (39 years).
36: Pep Guardiola (14 years)
35: Mircea Lucescu (41 years).
29: Valery Lobanovsky (42-years)

At 52 years old, Pep still has many years ahead of him. What the future holds remains uncertain, but for now, he is with Manchester City, and they are determined to replicate the successes of last year.
