The heart warming return of PK Subban
Merci Montréal, merci PK
Former defenseman of the year and former Montreal Canadiens player, PK Subban came back to Center Bell for a heart warming welcome back from the fans.
Last night the former NHL player came back to Montreal as they faced the Nashville Predators in a 4-3 win. The Canadiens have been going on a relatively bad run this season, being last in the Atlantic division with a record of 17-22-3.
Canadiens fans are notorious for their love of ice hockey, as most Canadians are, on top of the team's rich history. Having PK return made a heartwarming moment for fans, players and staff members alike, especially remembering what PK did for the team. As a multiple time All Star player, an all time defenseman, and a Norris trophy winner (defenseman of the year award), winning went from a possibility to a must for Montreal.
The return ended as PK saluted the crowd walking on the rink and waving to fans, as the former sadi “merci montreal” meaning thank you Montreal in french, leaving the rink almost in tears but with a smile on his face knowing his talent and effort was put to making the fans happy.
