Manchester City and RB Leipzig have already qualified for the 1/8 finals and the Citizens could win the group if they beat The Red Bulls at the Etihad tonight.
Manchester City just missed the chance to equal the longest-ever winning home run by an English top-flight team against Liverpool at the weekend (1-1). Having already beaten RB Leipzig twice this year, 7-0 and 1-3, Manchester City will be looking to start another streak of victories.
I don't think Pep Guardiola will rest so many players, because it's a must for a giant like Man City and as the defending Champions League winners, to win the group. Of course, RB Leipzig are a talented team and deserves their spot in the knockout round of the competition, but I find it very difficult to back them to pick up a positive result at the Etihad Stadium.
RB Leipzig will enter this match off the back of a 2-1 defeat to Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga on Saturday and will still be without Timo Werner. Except for Kevin de Bruyne, Manchester City had all players back in the squad against Liverpool, so players like John Stones and Josko Gvardiol could be in the line-up.
I think Manchester City have too much quality here and should secure the first spot in the group. I'm on Manchester City to win with two or more goals.
