The Dutch talent is showcasing his immense talent in the Bundesliga.

Xavi Simons was bought back by PSG this summer after a fantastic season at PSV. PSG believed that he needed more playing time at a bigger club, so he has now been loaned out to RB Leipzig, and what a start he has had to life in the Bundesliga. His impressive start in Germany also earned him two starting spots for the Netherlands in the Euro 2024 qualification.
Xavi Simons' significant breakthrough came in the 2022/23 season for Feyenoord, where he played a crucial role in the team's success. He had moved to PSV on a free transfer, but PSG had inserted a very low buy-back clause, which they exercised in the summer following his impressive season.

Simons is known for his close ball control and dribbling ability. He can maneuver through tight spaces and take on defenders effectively.  He has good vision on the field, which enables him to spot and execute creative passes that can unlock defenses.
Simons has excellent ball control despite his young age; he can control the ball in an exceptional manner and is effective in tight spaces. In addition to his technical qualities, he is also a team player. He has a strong work ethic and is willing to contribute both defensively and offensively, making him a well-rounded player. Moreover, he can play multiple positions on the field, which is every coach's dream.

Xavi Simons fits well into RB Leipzig's offensive playing style, where he has primarily been used as a right winger. In this role, he also drifts inside and gets involved in the play in tight spaces while posing a threat on the wing. He has adapted well and established a good partnership with the team's offensive forces.
