Tottenham plan talks with Luis Enrique

Enrique has long been rumored for Chelsea, but now Tottenham are reportedly interested.

Tottenham are looking for a new manager and now three names are reported as the favorites to take over the job.
Julian Nagelsmann is still an obvious possibility, while Vincent Kompany from Burnley is also reported as a possibility. The favorite right now, however, is Luis Enrique, who is said to be holding meetings with Tottenham about his plan for the project.

However, the former Spanish national coach should have held several meetings with Chelsea regarding the vacant coaching job. However, Enrique was said to be disappointed with Chelsea's temporary appointment of Frank Lampard, as he would have liked to have taken over the job immediately.
It therefore suggests that Chelsea will be extra thorough in relation to the choice of coach and there will probably only be a clarification at the end of the season.

Tottenham have been without a coach since March when they decided to fire Antonio Conte, and it is not because the results have improved afterwards. They are currently fighting for a place in the top 4, so they need to win some games if they want to play in the Champions League next season.

Luis Enrique is known for offensive possession football, which he showed at Barcelona when he was a coach there. The 52-year-old coach has no experience with the Premier League, so that could be one of the things that speak against a possible appointment.
