We have ranked the top 10 keepers based on their post-shot expected goals, minus the goals they have conceded this season.

10. Alisson

The Liverpool back line has had its fair share of wobbles so far this season, but Alisson still ranks with the top 10 goalkeepers in the league.

Liverpool have conceded six goals in their opening six matches and they have been guilty of giving away big opportunities to the opposition.

Alisson is as reliable as they come though and he has prevented 0.1 goals so far this season for Liverpool.

9. Lukasz Fabianski

Often a goalkeeper who goes under the radar, Lukasz Fabianski is still going strong at 37 years old.

The Polish goalkeeper has prevented 0.3 goals this season for West Ham and he has made a total of 13 saves.

8. Vicente Guaita

In their opening six matches, Crystal Palace have already faced Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City so Vicente Guaita has been kept on his toes.

Aston Villa are yet to keep a clean sheet this season, but Emiliano Martinez has managed to dig them out of quite a few situations.

Villa managed to pick up a solid point against Man City last time out as they limited Pep Guardiola’s side to the single goal.

This season Martinez has prevented a total of 1.1 goals.

4. Bernd Leno

Bernd Leno has had a new lease of life at Fulham and he will be enjoying playing regular first team football once again.

Brighton will have a restructure after losing manager Graham Potter, but he has left behind the foundations of a very solid Premier League outfit.
