We’ve checked out the top ten forwards from across Europe's top five leagues with the best pressing stats this season.
10. Gabriel Jesus
Gabriel Jesus has taken Arsenal up a level this season and he has taken to the number nine role well with three goals in his first six appearances.
The former Manchester City forward knows all too well how to behave off the ball too as he has applied 45 pressures in the attacking third this season.
The Arsenal forward has won three tackles in the attacking third and his work rate cannot be questioned.

Miguel Almiron has had his ups and downs since arriving in Newcastle, but his work rate has always been outstanding.
For Newcastle this season he has applied 45 pressures and won three tackles in the final third.

Danny Welbeck has proved to be one of the most underrated forwards in the league so far this season and he has a vital role to play in this Brighton side.
As well as providing a goal-threat, Welbeck also does plenty of running off the ball.
This season the Brighton forward has applied 49 pressures in the attacking third.
4. Brenden Aaronson
