Ryan Gravenberch is showcasing his talent for Liverpool
Liverpool appears to have made a scoop with the acquisition of Gravenberch.
Liverpool has successfully rejuvenated its midfield, with players like MacAllister and Szoboszlai bringing new energy to Jurgen Klopp's squad. Ryan Gravenberch is the latest addition, signed from Bayern Munich in the summer, and he has recently been showcasing his immense talent. In his first few games, he needed time to regain match fitness, but it now appears that he has secured a starting spot after several impressive performances.
He now looks like the player who ran around at Ajax and made him one of the biggest talents in Europe. His move to Bayern was a mistake as he didn't get the playing time he deserved, and it's somewhat puzzling when you see his performances now.
Gravenberch for Liverpool 2023/24:
◉ 11 games
◉ 6 starts
◉ 2 goals
◉ 2 assists
Liverpool has sought to have a midfield that could contribute offensively, and it must be said they have found that with Szoboszlai and Gravenberch. Both players have provided goals and assists because they are midfielders who get into the box and make forward runs. Previously, Klopp had a dynamic and industrious midfield that excelled in pressing and pressuring opponents, but they didn't participate much in the offensive aspect of the game.
