Midweek Tips

Harry Kane and Son Heung-min celebrate together.
There are exciting matches coming up in the Premier League this midweek and here are our predictions.

Premier League action is back this midweek with many exciting matches to watch.

Brighton vs Nottingham Forest

The second manager who probably could get sacked could be Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cooper after the woeful start to their new Premier League era. No team have signed more players than Forest, they managed to set a new British record with the 21 signings they've made in the 2022 summer window.

Since Graham Potter left Brighton for Chelsea, they have only one win from their last five Premier League matches. It's not the best start for De Zerbi, but to be honest, they still play very exciting football and deserved more both against Tottenham and Brentford on Friday.

With so many great managers free on the market this could be Steve Cooper's last chance to win after seven consecutive games without winning a Premier League game.

Nottingham Forest to win at 8.50 (Betfair).

Manchester United vs Tottenham

Not really impressed by Man Utd against Newcastle at Old Trafford. Newcastle defended well and had the biggest chances to score the winning goal.

This time they need to find another level against a much stronger and well-organized side. Tottenham have four wins from their last five Premier League matches and there is a good balance in the team and a high discipline in the transitions of the game, something Conte have improved a lot.

Since 2005, Manchester United and Tottenham have never shared the points at Old Trafford, where United have 18 wins and Spurs 3 wins. With Eriksen back in the starting line-up, United can find a higher level and take all three points.

Manchester United to win at 2.50 (Betfair).

Fulham vs Aston Villa

Both sides are winless in their last three outcomes and will be desperate to take three points from this clash at Craven Cottage in west London. Fulham stands 11th in the table, but they are among the highest conceding sides and one of the reasons for that is that manager Marco Silva likes to play with risk.

The wingers Kebano and James are always dangerous down the wings and supply Mitrovic with many crosses. Aston Villa doesn't have the best center-backs in Konsa and Mings and Mitrovic will be a threat to them.

Having already seven goals in his name, Mitrovic to score the first goal in the match is good value.

Aleksandar Mitrovic to score the 1st goal at 5.00 (Bet365).
