10. Kamaldeen Sulemana
Claiming the number ten spot on today’s list we have Kamaldeen Sulemana of Rennes in Ligue 1. The Ghanaian winger, who is just 19, has caught the eye of many teams around Europe this season with his 50 successful dribbles.
He has six goal contributions in Ligue 1 and also starred for Ghana during the Africa Cup of Nations.
9. Yannick Carrasco
Atletico Madrid have been having a tough time in La Liga recently, but Yannick Carrasco still manages to make it into Europe’s top 10 dribblers. The 28-year-old has played a large chunk of the season as a left-wing back and has managed to accumulate 51 dribbles.
8. Rafael Leao
AC Milan’s Rafael Leao is next up on the list with 52 successful dribbles. The Portuguese forward is on track for his best goalscoring season to date, having already scored six league goals.
The 22-year-old has completed more dribbles than any other player from Serie A this season and if he continues at his current rate of progress, he’s destined for big things.
7. Teji Savanier
Next up is Montpellier’s Teji Savanier, who has completed an impressive 54 successful dribbles so far. The 30-year-old midfielder has been a stand-out player in Ligue 1 this season, racking up 11 goal contributions for a Montpellier side that is fighting for a European place.
6. Sofiane Boufal
After a stint with Southampton in the Premier League, Sofiane Boufal now finds himself back in Ligue 1 and he’s been just as skilful as ever. The Moroccan winger has completed 54 dribbles this season and he has eight goals contributions in the league.
Boufal was also a star of Morocco’s AFCON tournament as he scored three goals and helped them to the quarter-finals.
5. Houssem Aouar
Houssem Aouar’s ability to wriggle out of tight situations makes him quite unique. The Olympique Lyonnais playmaker has completed 55 dribbles this season, an impressive number given he has played the majority of the season in a central role.
4. Kylian Mbappe
You might be noticing a trend here as Kylian Mbappe comes in as the fifth Ligue 1 player on today’s list, but the French league is obviously blessed with an abundance of top dribblers. Mbappe has been PSG’s figurehead this season and has 20 goal contributions in 21 league matches.
The French star has pace to burn as he has completed 61 successful dribbles, with an average of 3.1 per 90.
3. Adama Traore
It will come as no surprise to see Adama Traore on the list, as he has been regarded as one of Europe’s top dribblers for some time now. While he didn’t always get many goals and assists from his time at Wolves, Traore only needed 21 minutes to grab an assist in his Barcelona debut.
Last season, no player in Europe completed more dribbles than Traore as he just edged Lionel Messi to the number one spot with 160 dribbles. So far this season, the Spanish winger ranks third on the list with 62 successful dribbles.
2. Vinicius Junior
Vinicius Junior is having the best season of his career to date and is currently the second most successful dribbler in Europe. The Brazilian winger has 66 dribbles for Real Madrid and is undoubtedly one of the hottest prospects in football right now.
Vinicius has also completed more nutmegs than any other player on today’s list with eight this season.
1. Allan Saint-Maximin
Newcastle may have had their struggles so far this season, but that hasn’t stopped Allan Saint-Maximin from showing just how good he is. The French winger breezes past defenders and blows everyone else out of the water when it comes to dribbling.
He has completed 97 successful dribbles, 31 more than Vinicius Junior who is in second place.
