Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha – a free agent in 2023

With his contract expiring in the summer of 2023, it looks like the Palace star player could leave the club on a free transfer. Arsenal and Chelsea are reportedly interested.

If Crystal Palace want some money for their star player, a sale must take place in January before Zaha has to start talking to other clubs about a free transfer.
It is reported that Zaha does not want to extend his current contract, so Palace will have to come up with the very big purse if they are to have any chance of an extension.

Latest reports from the English are that Arsenal and Chelsea are keeping an extra eye on Zaha, and it would be obvious for Chelsea and Zaha to make an agreement, as it seems like a good match.

What speaks against a major change for Zaha is his age, a 30-year-old winger who has had attitude problems at times can scare several clubs away, at the same time it is a bet as you have not yet seen the player on the big stage.
