Can they win it all? - The Milwaukee Bucks
This is a mini series where I will take upon the top teams in each conference and see if they can make it out through light analysis
The Bucks, 2021 champions and 2022 snubs losing narrowly to a stacked Celtics team and an injured Middleton. Can they do it again?
Roster and staff
Now the Bucks are more than an athletic Greek giant, as the Bucks have built a team drafting Giannis, trading for Khris Middleton in 2013. Who knew these two would run the 2021 season. The Bucks have depth and experience on their team, with veteran Serge Ibaka setting screens as a role player, and sharing his knowledge with future stars.
Jrue Holiday has been a pillar on defense and got the teammate of the year award last season. His passion for the game and leadership are unbeaten. The roster also consists of a big man who can shoot from both midrange and from three in Brook Lopez. The team is mixed with big men and guards who can all shoot, much like Bobby Portis and Joe Ingles, with the addition of Thanasis and Jevon Carter from the bench. That's at least 10 points each from the bench.
MVP players
Giannis is a force of nature that can only be taken down on certain nights when Mercury and Jupiter are in retrograde. At least that's how it feels like, since he got to the NBA, Giannis has been growing longer, taller and wider. Now this giant can jump, he got handles, and can shoot decently from three. It goes without saying just by size and strength alone he could be an all star.
The Opposition
The Bucks are very dominant in the east, but seem to struggle with the Nets and the Celtics in the Playoffs. The playoffs are a time to showcase your skills to the world and show that you are not playing around, you're here to win it all and at every cost. The thing is that Tatum and KD are those types of players too, even more so the entire Celtics roster after losing in the finals last year. In the west the grizzlies are the Bucks' biggest opponent, losing their last game against them 142-101.
Due to their history with injuries in the Playoffs, the Bucks will have to fight hard and stay healthy if they want to win it all and take back the Championship from the Warriors.
